Your website isn't broken. It's just not bringing you clients.
I'm Chris Rafols. I build WordPress sites for real estate, medspa, marine and tour operators, then fix the search visibility underneath them and wire up the follow-up, so enquiries stop quietly falling through.

The problem
If you've said one of these out loud this month, we should talk.
These are the four sentences I hear most from owners before we start. None of them are really about the website looking bad.
“Nobody finds us on Google.”
You rank for your own business name and nothing else. The searches that end in a booking go to three competitors instead.
Visibility
“We get traffic. We don't get bookings.”
Analytics looks healthy, the calendar doesn't. The page brings people in and then gives them nothing obvious to do next.
Conversion
“Leads come in and go cold.”
The enquiry lands in an inbox, someone replies two days later, the prospect has already booked elsewhere.
Follow-up
“The ads just burn money.”
Spend goes up, bookings don't. The campaign is usually fine. It's pointing at a page that can't close.
Paid traffic
The root cause
Before I quote anything, I find out what's actually causing it.
Most agencies sell you the thing they sell. I'd rather spend the first call working out which of these it is, because fixing the wrong one is how businesses waste a year.
Invisible on Google despite “having SEO”
→
Technical debt under the theme
Slow pages, bloated builders, thin or duplicated service pages, no local signals. Nothing to rank.
Traffic arrives, nothing converts
→
The page never asks
No clear next step, buried contact, forms that ask for too much, no proof near the decision point.
Enquiries go quiet after day one
→
No system behind the form
Manual follow-up that depends on someone remembering. Speed-to-lead is where most bookings are lost.
Ads cost more every month
→
Broken measurement, weak landing
Pixel and conversions misfiring, so the algorithm optimizes toward the wrong action, onto a page built to inform, not to book.
“We rank, but for the wrong things”
→
Keyword intent mismatch
Ranking for research terms instead of the ready-to-buy, location-specific searches your customers actually type.
You get this read on the free call whether or not you hire me. If the honest answer is “your site is fine, your offer isn't,” I'll tell you that too.
Quick wins first
What I fix in the first two weeks.
Long projects are easier to sell and harder to trust. So the fastest-moving fixes go first, before anything gets rebuilt.
Days 1–2
Audit and triage
Full crawl, speed test, Search Console and analytics review. You get one list, ranked by impact against effort, not a 40-page PDF.
Days 3–5
Stop the leaks
Broken forms, missing tracking, dead links, slow-loading images, mobile layout breaks. The things already costing you enquiries today.
Days 6–9
Sharpen the money pages
Homepage and top service pages: clear offer, one obvious next step, proof where the decision happens, titles and meta rewritten for intent.
Days 10–14
Turn on the follow-up
Form to CRM, instant auto-reply, lead alerts on your phone, and a simple sequence so nobody waits two days for a reply.
Why this order
Rankings take months. Conversion and follow-up don't. Fixing the bottom of the funnel first means the traffic you already have starts paying before the SEO work compounds.
- You see movement in weeks, not quarters
- Every later ranking gain lands on a page that converts
- Nothing is rebuilt before we know what's worth rebuilding

03 · Capture

The part most sites are missing: what happens in the ten minutes after someone enquires.

- Nurture and re-engagement sequences

- Reporting that arrives in your inbox
Outcome · fewer leads lost to silence
04 · Demand

Selected work
Six builds, and what each one had to do.
Every site here was built around a single job: get found locally, explain a treatment, fill an event, or make one argument well. Full case studies come out on the call.
MedSpa & aesthetics
Bloom Aesthetics Riverside
Treatment-led site for an aesthetics clinic. The service menu is laid out so a visitor finds the treatment they came for and books without picking up the phone.
Design & build
bloomriversideca.com ↗
MedSpa & aesthetics
MedJuv — Medical Rejuvenation
Advanced aesthetics practice with a long treatment list. Structured so the highest-value services stay one click from the homepage instead of buried in a dropdown.
Design & build
medjuv.com ↗
Real estate
Luxe Living Realty
Personal-brand site for a Dallas–Fort Worth realtor. Built around her rather than the brokerage: story first, listings second, one obvious way to start a conversation.
Design & build
livejustfancier.com ↗
Property management
Profitable Property Partners
Property management site with search by location and category, so owners and tenants land on the page they need instead of defaulting to the contact form.
Design & build
primepropertysolution.ca ↗
Home services
Cabinet refinishing, Phoenix
A local service site making one argument: refinish, don't replace. Service-area pages and before-and-after proof carry the sell.
Design & build
alamosrefinishing.com ↗
Events & coaching
Build 26 — live training event
Two-day real estate training event. Site, Stripe ticketing and Meta ads: 161 tickets sold through on-site checkout, with landing page views at $0.04 each.

How I work
Six steps, in order, every time.
This is the sequence I run from first call to signed start. It exists so you're never guessing what happens next, and so nothing gets built before we agree on why.
A
Acknowledge
We name the real problem
You tell me what's not working in your words. No pitch, no audit upsell. I listen first and repeat it back until we agree on it.
P
Probe
I find the root cause
Site, search data, tracking, follow-up. The symptom is rarely the cause, and the cause decides the work.
P
Present
You get the plan, ranked
What to fix, in what order, with what it should do for you. Quick wins at the top, rebuilds only where they're justified.
E
Engagement
We scope it properly
Deliverables, timeline, what I need from you, and what “working” will look like in numbers. Project or monthly, your call.

Tell me what isn't converting.

Project or monthly retainer
No lock-in on the first month
Before you ask
The questions I get on every call.
What does this cost?
Builds are quoted per project once the scope is clear; SEO, automation and ads run monthly. I don't publish a price list because a five-page medspa site and a 60-page brokerage site aren't the same job. You'll have a number in writing before anything starts, and it won't move unless you change the scope.
How long before SEO actually works?
Technical fixes and on-page work show up in weeks. Competitive rankings take three to six months, and anyone who promises page one in 30 days is either buying links or lying. That's exactly why the first two weeks go to conversion and follow-up, so the traffic you already have starts paying while the slower work compounds.
We've been burned by an agency before.
Most of my clients have. Usually it was a retainer with no visible output and a report nobody could read. You work with me directly, not an account manager, and you get a shared board showing what's done, what's next, and what's waiting on you. If a month's work didn't move anything, I'll say so before you have to ask.
Do I own the site and the accounts?
Yes, all of it. Domain, hosting, WordPress, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and analytics stay in your name with you as owner. I work inside your accounts, not mine. If we stop working together you keep everything and nothing switches off.
Can't I just use a template, a page builder, or AI?
You can, and for some businesses that's the right call. What templates don't give you is the part that earns money: search structure built around what your buyers type, a page that asks for the booking at the right moment, and tracking wired so you know which source paid. If you already have a site, I'd usually rather fix it than sell you a rebuild.
Do you work with my industry?
Most of my work is real estate, medspa and aesthetics, marine, and tours, plus the agencies serving them. Those buyers research locally and decide fast, which is a specific kind of site and a specific kind of SEO. If you're outside those, say so on the call and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit.
What do you need from me?
Access to the site, analytics and ad accounts, whatever brand assets exist, and about an hour a week for questions and approvals. The less you have ready, the more of it I'll build, but decisions about your offer and pricing stay yours.
Am I locked into a contract?
Retainers run month to month after an initial three-month period, because SEO and ads need that long to show a real signal. Project work is fixed scope with a deposit and a balance on delivery. Cancel a retainer and you keep every asset built during it.
